Day 31

Well It's the last day of the month! 31/365! woooo! Let's hope Feb is just as good! I'm planning to go out to some different places to draw some scenery and see some different scenery! After seeing the gorilla that walks on two legs (for a prolonged period, compared to normal) I really wanted to go to the zoo!

Anyway! I've also been looking at some courses and talking to Amy about going to life drawing. I've mainly been looking at the short courses in 2D animation, photography or drawing at Central St.Martins

Day 30!

Wow 30 days! I have enjoyed the last month so much! can't believe I hadn't done this everyday anyway!

Well Tangled was FANTASTIC !! Can't believe it doesn't have more oscar nominations, looove Pascal! And Barney's Version was amazing, I was rather dehydrated after all the crying! Oh and 127hours was good too :)

Anyways, I read a few blogs the other day, and one by a storyboard artist, that would practise every morning, somethign he struggled to draw the day before, like he will concentrate on hands, or feet etc. So I feel like this would be a nice direction to go into for Feb!

Below are today's pages; I drew from the The Achieve Series; Animation, Disney (second in the series). Lots and lots of inspiration, I only hope I can draw 1/1000000000000000th of what they can one day!

Day 29

Well I did some drawing on forest gate platform just now and thought I had better upload now, as we are off to cineworld to see Tangled, 127 hours and Barney's version! I can't wait! Hopefully we can fit them all in with our passes :D.

Day 28

Hellloo, I woke up this morning crossing my fingers for sunshine soon, it's far too cold, I could hardly draw!

Anyway, there's a couple of links I've been meaning to post but kept forgetting and seeing them saved in my work email in draft's; so I figured I would do them now, whilst I have a spare 5 mins.

I forgot...well no I didn't forget about these amazing animations, just came across them again and remembered how awesome they are!

Day 23

Drawing from memory today. I wanted to see if I could recreate poses from memory,  as creating drawings from imagination isn't my strong point..
I think I'll practice this approach more often! It was fun :)

Well today was rather busy and late at work, so I didn't get much opportunity to draw,  but I did draw one girl looking cold on the platform:

Late night again, just got home, which means I got a seat! Here's my sketches:

Phew, what a day! got in at 9, and just got home!

So I managed to get a seat on the way home and got to draw! Although I was a tiny bit distracted by the comedian that got on advertising his comedy club and joking with the passengers, it was hilarious! Anyway here's the page:

 Hopefully I can spend this week/weekend coming up with an idea for a proper painting, I have a canvas ready!

Day 16

Well I added some more to my painting from yesterday. Not had chance to do much else today, as I've been working mostly on AnimTutor work. Trying to think of a subject i'd like to paint next!

Unfinished, but just getting an idea for the picture as a whole now :)

Hey!

Well today I decided to paint, but as I haven't done it for a rather long time, I decided to use a paint by numbers set I had. Thought I could concentrate on the acrylic, rather then finding a subject. Anyway, it was fun! Think I'm going to finish the rest tomorrow:

Day 13! Unlucky for some

I got a seat on the way back today :) managed to fit in a page from Liverpool Street. I found it interesting how (even though there was room) that two strangers stood so close!

And here are some doodles I did in some spare time I had at work, I copied them from Eric Goldberg's Animation Crash Course. It's great to see how he constructs characters and having a go, helps me to see this better :)
