Doing some self portraits today... these were a bit pants, but i'd quite like to do something like a did for my fine art course. I drew a 5 hour self portrait, then developed it and stylised it with different influences. I think it would be a fun project. i have a canvas in waiting anyway!

I decided to do some more studies today from my two books: Force and Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist.

Just want to concentrate on the head shape and how it properly joins with the neck and sits with the shoulders.

Yeah, I think this week I'll concentrate on drawing heads and faces :)

Finding heads and joining on to the body a real problem at the moment, can't get a nice quick shape for them, so going to concentrate on that later.

Better on the way home, but not great, hopefully a better day tomorrow :D

Hey!

I joined up to AnimatedBuzz today! It's like facebook for animator's and people alike. 

Here are today's doodles; I've been trying to work out how to exaggerated and caricature a cat by drawing from real photos. I need to go visit my cat's (Leia & Jaja).

Well I listened to the 11 second club clip this week and I was inspired, so here's some pics of my designs* and some staging ideas:
