Day 120

So I entered the 11 Second Club again this month. I only managed to spend about 35 hours on it this time. I wish I had had a bit more time to really sort out some of the dialogue and spacing, but anyway!

and here's my entry:

I plan to render this out nicely soon, after I've had time to properly polish the animation!

Also, had a bit of time today to catch up on films and drawing!

I watched Indiana Jones and the last crusade, The life of brian and 2001; a space odyssey.

I have been re-organising my papers and what not today, and i figured it might be useful to share some of the notes an things i have collected. So ill try and get them up on here too! Here are some of my doodles from this evening too, going through my book Draw the Looney Tunes:

Day 65

Crumbs, this year is flying by!

So I'm going to attempt this month's 11 second club, with a tight schedule and other things on the go. But I really want to implement my speedy work flow I have to use for commercials at home! It may fail, but it may work! Who knows :)

In the mean time i've added some more pins to my board

There's a great site I found via On Animation with loads of articles here

Day 188

Full steam ahead!

Well I really need to knuckle down this evening...

I've got to work out the 11 second club, and do some draw over's on a 3D sculpt of my Cat design. I really need to come up with something by Friday, so I can spend Saturday and Sunday filming reference and drawing thumbnails.

I should also be starting the wand project soon!

Update: so at lunch I came to the conclusion I will never be funnier then dumb and dumber and that film is too close to thunk of a different context. So on to a quote from the man who knew too little, I've never seen it and don't know the context, so it gives me some leverage to thumbnail what I first imagine rather the actors performance.

"time out! I hate to break put of character, uh, but, you cannot shout into a person's ear. It does damage. If yo..you know.. The spitting I don't mind"

Traffic square this morning:

Day 170

Loving the entries for the 11second club last month. The dinosaur is brilliant!

Also watched a great short today, Le Petit Dragon - such a brilliant concept!

Had quite a bit of progress today, but I'm keeping the successful bits under wraps for now :D. I'll post then up soon:
