Day 189

Blimey, can't believe it's July already! And it's Friday...again! Crumbs, time is dissolving.

So exciting progression on the Cat, saw some test render's today, for ideas of the overall look of the piece. So we'll see how that translates. Hopefully I can get a big chunk done this weekend.

There was a great article, that I read yesterday, about staying motivated once you reach your goal, here on kennyroy.com . Not sure if you have to be a member to read it or not though.

Also, on the blog, this great short film called Blik. I love the style and the simple yet very effective story telling.

Here is the sound clip for the animation I want to do. It's a good website for a mixture of well known and not so well known films for some inspiration :)

Today I want to advertise www.kennyroy.com it's such a great community! Everyone is very supportive and encouraging!

..and on today's post he has included a new podcast, Force verse Form, that I wanted to share, sounds good so far!

Also, Monsters Inc 2 has now been announced as Monsters University. I am very excited about that, as Monsters Inc. is my favourite Pixar film, and one of the many reasons I took up animation.

I have aso been thinking about what I would like to achieve within the next 12 months, which is interesting to reflect and look back over this blog to see my progress (if any). So, to bump start the next three month hurdle, I figured I should start thinking of other things to work on during this time and motivate myself.

Anyways, enough random babble.
